Curtis W. Fairclough, Esq.

As the founder of Fair Law Group, Curt's legal practice centers on corporate, private equity, and entertainment transactional law. With the distinction of being one of only a few lawyers in California with a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, Curt possesses a unique combination of legal and financial expertise that allows him to provide valuable insights to his clients during complex transactions and negotiations.

Curt's legal expertise extends to licensing, corporate reorganization, and real estate matters, where he conducts due diligence investigations and handles commercial transactions across various industries, including digital marketing and media, internet retail, business services, entertainment and sports, food and beverage, software, SaaS, AI, and renewable energy. He also advises clients on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity matters within the context of mergers, acquisitions, and other complex commercial transactions.
Curt's passion for innovation and practical solutions, coupled with his extensive experience in finance, entertainment, and distressed situations, allows him to effectively serve clients with bottom-line needs. He particularly enjoys working with entrepreneurs and start-up companies. Prior to founding Fair Law Group, Curt worked as an associate at a large international law firm, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in-house at various entertainment companies.

When not in the office, Curt enjoys traveling, golfing, running, and spending time outdoors. He is a devoted fan of the LA Dodgers and Kings, as well as the Dallas Cowboys. Curt holds an LLM and a J.D. from Pepperdine Law School, and an H.B.A in Economics and Finance from McGill University. He is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the CFA Institute.
